Advocacy Teams are a tangible expression of our church's commitment to support our Global Partners. They take on the responsibility to coordinate our church's support and encouragement to a Global Partner unit and to serve as their representatives to Park. Sarah, a member at Forest Glen, describes the joy of leading an Advocacy Team for a Global Partner in Europe.
My husband and I have been leading Carly's Advocacy Team for about a year and a half. We joined her team while she was still stateside, and have since had the privilege of walking alongside her as she prepared to leave Chicago, as she launched, and as she got settled into her new home overseas. She has gone through numerous life transitions since arriving on the field last March, and it's been an honor and a joy to get a front-row seat to all that God is doing through her life and ministry. We love the fact that being part of her Advocacy Team is a tangible way of supporting the work that she is doing to spread the Gospel to the unreached!
